Tried 2 bottles PdC 2008 for a couple of years ago and both felt a bit like that soapy artificial. Have not gone on PdC since then, sounds like it's time to give 10-ball a chance. Have the Castell'in Villa 2008 in the glass tonight, apropos strictly brought up sangiovese. Jeez what good! Less opulent than the 2007: th but oh so charming and defined at the same time.
