Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Help Desk Specialist, launch will provide critical support launch to the entire company by assisting with a wide range of computer hardware and software issues. This includes equipment deployment, diagnosing hardware and software issues through questions and troubleshooting, issue correction, setting up new hardware, sourcing the appropriate hardware and software and other similar tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service and computer launch hardware and software. launch As this is an internal customer service position, the IT Help Desk Specialist will be organized and friendly with the strong desire to help out. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide quality IT support for employees with high degree launch of customer satisfaction, technical knowledge launch and timeliness. Serve as point of contact for technical support calls received by phone, e-mail or other methods Perform a variety of network problem analysis and monitoring tasks for the Support Team of the Information Technology department launch when appropriate. Act as liaison between users and technical staff to communicate the status of problem resolution to network users; log and track requests for assistance related to IT supported systems Participate in the preparation of training material and documentation launch for IT Support use; conduct periodic inventory maintenance on all equipment, track user problem trends. Create and distribute network related information to users, such as new account information and distribution list information; as well as, activating and deactivating user accounts. Assist with on-site installation and maintenance of network systems for users. Extract and import data according to predetermined specifications. All other tasks as assigned. launch Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and/or 3 or more years relevant experience in Information Systems launch and/or technical launch support launch Intermediate proficiency with computer hardware, operating systems and software, including Windows (XP 7 and 8), Apple OSX, Office 2007/2010, 2013, Active Directory, Exchange (2007/2010), launch Citrix, VMware, Remote connectivity, RDP, Terminal Services, VPN, and or Blackberry Enterprise Server. Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating systems a plus. Experience with anti-virus tools and encryption, knowledge of McAfee launch Anti-Virus and McAfee EndPoint Encryption preferred Experience with Service-Now a big plus Understanding of ITIL processes preferred & v3 certifications a major plus Ability to manage multiple priorities and demands on a daily basis Must be able to work with users at all levels of skills and abilities launch Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and analytical skills required Microsoft Certifications is a plus
